  • Acquired perforating dermatosis (APD) comprise a group of trans-epidermal elimination disorders. The clinical picture is characterized by the presence of multiple pruritic, keratotic, follicular/non-follicular papules, and nodules commonly over the extremities and trunk. 1 Dermoscopic features of APD are sparsely reported in the literature. 2, 3 We aimed to study the various dermoscopic features of APD. This retrospective descriptive study was conducted in a tertiary care Hospital of South India, after approval from the institutional ethical committee. Only the biopsy-proven cases of APD, from January 2014 to December 2016, were included in the study. The clinicodemographic data and clinical and dermoscopic images were retrieved for all the patients. The dermoscopic images were taken using a nonpolarized contact dermoscope and attached Nikon SLR camera.
