A disease caused by the virus previously known as \'2019 novel coronavirus\' was termed \'coronavirus disease (COVID-19)\' by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 February 2020 (https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/technical-guidance/naming-the-coronavirus-disease-(covid-2019)-and-the-virus-that-causes-it). Thereafter, the number of medical publications on COVID-19 seems to be increasing proportionally to worldwide increases in COVID-19 cases and deaths. In the present article, to determine whether medical publication is associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, relationship between them was analyzed.
