  • Gamma camera scanning systems that permit the bedside assessment of critically ill patients. Some systems are configured with the detector, detector stand, and data-processing console integrated into a single-powered, wheeled unit; other systems include the data-processing console in a separate unit, which is also mounted on wheels and interconnected by coaxial or fiberoptic cable to the detector unit.
