  • Adapters designed to interconnect cables from a different manufacturer and/or model to an electrosurgical unit (ESU); they may also be used to connect cables to discontinued and/or obsolete models, to perform special (e.g., bipolar, endoscopic, minimally invasive, or laparoscopic surgery) procedures, or to increase safety of connection.
