Devices designed as flexible bands used in occluding, retracting and identifying vessels (i.e., arteries and veins), as well as tendons and nerves during surgical procedures. These devices typically consist of long, thin, radiopaque bands (typically constructed from synthetic materials such as medical-grade silicone); they are often color-coded according to structure (e.g., red for arteries, blue for veins, white for tendons, yellow for nerves). Vascular loops are intended to be \'looped\' around the vessel or other structure; some designs include a needle attached to one end of the band to facilitate positioning of the loop.
