Controllers designed to measure and control the concentration of oxygen in an enclosed atmosphere. These controllers typically consist of an electronic unit with a display to show actual values of percentage of oxygen concentration in the enclosed atmosphere, appropriate temperature-compensated electrodes and sensors to detect oxygen, transducers, control knobs or buttons, and alarms to alert when oxygen values are beyond a predetermined range. Some devices are also capable of controlling the concentration of dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions (usually in ppm). Oxygen controllers are used mainly in laboratory equipment (e.g., incubators, glove boxes); they are integral parts of some devices.
