Intrauterine catheters designed for injection of opaque material into the uterus. These catheters usually include a balloon attached on or near their distal tip (some include two balloons) and a central lumen for injection of the opaque medium. Radiography intrauterine catheters are used for the radiography of the uterus (salpingography) or uterus and uterine tubes simultaneously (hysterosalpingography).
