Transducer output simulators designed to mimic the electrical output of an invasive blood pressure transducer (e.g., central venous pressure, intra-arterial pressure). These simulators include an electronic generator that simulates the electrical output of the transducer, typically equivalent to wide a range of pressure variation (e.g., from -50 to +300 mm Hg); either static pressures or time-varying (i.e., dynamic) pressures can be simulated. Invasive blood pressure transducer output simulators are used to test invasive blood pressure monitors excluding the monitor transducer.
