Structures designed to provide an opening between two contiguous rooms, usually to transfer products and/or people. Pass-throughs may consist of either open or enclosed structures. Open pass-throughs provide free passage of objects between the two rooms; enclosed structures include doors on two (usually opposite) sides to permit access to both rooms but isolate one room from the other and/or providing a contamination-free environment while performing the transfer.
