Intestinal surgical clamps designed with the appropriate size for the atraumatic grasping or compression of a portion of the small intestine, providing a locking mechanism. These clamps are typically handheld, manual instruments with two hinged parts that have rectangular distal blades and a built-in locking mechanism at the other end. Dedicated locking small intestine (i.e., duodenum, jejunum, ileum) clamps are used to facilitate end-to-end, lateral, and end-to-side anastomosis, preventing bleeding.
