  • Surgical scissors designed to cut hard bony internal nasal structures, usually the turbinate (i.e., nasal conchae). These scissors are typically sturdy handheld, manual instruments with two long metallic (e.g., stainless steel) doubled-action blades with straight blunt tips that slide past each other (i.e., shearing action).
