Lower and upper limb muscle strength exercisers designed to test a patient\'s isometric lifting capabilities. These devices consist of a platform for the patient to stand on, a chain with a handle that patients lift, and a gauge to measure how much weight the patient can lift and/or the amount of force the patient is exerting. These platforms are often used by physical therapists in rehabilitation programs to evaluate a patient\'s ability to perform job-related duties (e.g., lifting a certain amount of weight); a patient\'s muscle strength; and a patient\'s physical readiness to return to work after an injury.
