Dental impression materials with elastomeric properties whose main components are vinyl polysiloxane and polyether. They are designed to make an accurate negative reproduction of a given area of the oral cavity. These dental impression materials bring together the benefits of polyether and vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) in one material. VPS-polyether dental impression materials are available with a fast setting time and/or several degrees of viscosity. They are usually supplied in cartridges with or without mixing tips. These dental impression materials are used in dental offices.
