Manual instruments designed to remove crimp seals and caps from tubes, bottles, and small containers (i.e., vials) used in medical procedures and/or laboratory tests. These decrimpers are typically handheld, manual instruments with a mechanism at the working end that facilitates the removal of crimp seals. The seals are removed by positioning the jaws and squeezing the handle. Seal decrimpers are used in clinical laboratories, pharmacies, and/or other areas of healthcare facilities that perform a low volume of daily operations.
