  • Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (typically serum) to determine alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH), a neuroendocrine hormone. This hormone is a peptide that may be secreted by the middle lobe of the pituitary gland; it is identical to some residues of the adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH).
