Hematology reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses of a sample of body fluids (typically plasma) to determine one of the components of the fibrinolytic enzyme system. The fibrinolytic enzyme system converts an inert plasma proenzyme (plasminogen) into a proteolytic enzyme (plasmin) which is associated with the dissolution of fibrin. This system in blood includes plasminogen and plasmin, together with activators and inhibitors.
