Postmortem gloves should have chemical, snag, puncture, abrasion, and cut resistance, providing an excellent grip on wet or dry surfaces. Postmortem gloves should provide good dexterity, tensile strength, elasticity, and protection against chemical hazards. They are mainly used by pathologists to manipulate cadavers and/or to perform gross dissection and other dedicated dissection procedures in hospital, other healthcare facilities.
