  • Software designed to operate monitoring healthcare workstations. This software is used in medical monitoring kiosks to control/monitor a limited number of their functions, and/or process data and images obtained during a particular monitoring procedure. This software usually interacts with integral devices used in the procedure, such as measuring instruments and monitors. It may also perform a variety of algorithms to facilitate the operation and analysis of the measured data. Monitoring kiosk workstation management software is intended to work only with one or a few models of workstations and related devices, usually supplied by the same manufacturer, facilitating the processing and/or sending of data from the workstation to and from hospital information systems.
