Surgical retractors designed to temporarily separate and hold back any of the various organs and/or tubular structures of the urinary tract, exposing and providing access to other tissues, organs, or structures. Urinary tract retractors are manual, handheld instruments available in a variety of shapes and sizes and are selected according to the urinary tract structure or organ to be exposed or retracted. Dedicated urinary tract retractors are available for the kidneys, urinary bladder, urethra and other associated structures and organs (e.g., the prostate).
