  • Prepackaged collections of the necessary devices and supplies (i.e., either custom or standard kits) used for emergency treatment of patients suffering tension pneumothorax. Items in these kits usually include devices such as syringes, forceps, vents, scalpels, occlusion plugs, needles, trocars, and tubing sets. They also include supplies (e.g., drapes, gauze, anesthetics) appropriate for the emergency situation that they are intended to treat.
