Stationary modular medical facilities that include appropriate installations to perform a variety of exercises and other procedures (e.g., orthopedic traction) during physical therapy and/or rehabilitation treatments. These modular facilities are assembled as a large volume chamber or cage that includes appropriate devices (e.g., pulleys, weights) and tables to perform a variety of traction procedures (e.g. limbs and spine), heat and cold therapies, and both passive and active exercises. The modular facilities usually need external connections to the main hospital systems for electric power, water, and other services such as compressed air. Physical therapy and rehabilitation medical facilities are used to add new capabilities to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare institutions for inpatient and outpatient services.
