Screens designed to provide a separation between adjacent healthcare areas. These screens are typically opaque or translucid stand-alone structures that include appropriate means to hold them. Some screen dividers include brackets for attachment to adjacent screens and/or to the ceiling and/or walls. Screen dividers (also known as wall partitions) are mainly used to provide a permanent or temporary barrier to conceal patient beds or tables during examination or other procedures; the screens are also used to facilitate the performance of medical procedures (e.g., catheterization, surgery).
