Molecular assay reagents intended to identify deletions and duplications in genes associated with pulmonary fibrosis and Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome, a genetic disorder that leads to signs and symptoms in multiple body systems including high rates of pulmonary fibrosis. Genetic variants at multiple loci have been associated with pulmonary fibrosis and Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome. These reagents are intended to detect deletions and duplications in multiple primary pulmonary fibrosis/Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome-associated loci simultaneously.
