Molecular assay reagents intended to identify deletions or duplications of the majority of genes known to be associated with cardiac arrhythmias, a collection of conditions involving irregularities in rhythm of electrical impulses controlling myocardial contraction. Irregularities may cause the heart to beat too quickly, too slowly, or erratically. Genetic variants at multiple loci have been associated with various forms of arrhythmia. These reagents are intended to detect deletions and duplications in the majority of arrhythmia-associated loci simultaneously.
