Molecular assay reagents intended to assess genetic material from either oocytes (i.e., polar body analysis) or embryos (e.g., blastomere analysis) before implantation into the uterus for genetic anomalies that could lead to pregnancy loss (e.g., aneuploidies) and/or lead to a genetic disorder in a child. Genetic changes with the potential to cause pregnancy loss and/or genetic disorders have been identified at numerous loci. These reagents are intended to detect multiple genetic loci and/or chromosomes for disease-associated genetic anomalies simultaneously.
