The aim of the present contribution is to describe the reorganization process as well as the human resource management practices adopted by Humanitas Research Hospital, a private IRCCS accredited by the National Health Service, to deal with Covid-19 crisis Specifically, the paper intends to: (i) present the actions undertaken by the Institute to manage the emergency phase;(ii) analyze the enabling factors for strategy implementation leading to the reorganization of structures, activities and people;(iii) explore the role played the Human Resource & Organization Department in emergency management;(iv) identify future prospects and action plans Copyright © FrancoAngeli
