Diarrhea can impose a major risk of morbidity and mortality on transplanted patients; so a careful evaluation is required to manage it. There are few studies highlighting the gastrointestinal manifestations of COVID-19, in particular among immunosuppressed patients. The predominant respiratory symptoms of coronavirus cause GI aspects of the virus to be overlooked.
