?:abstract
  • The Covid-19 pandemic disrupted in-person higher education throughout the world and forced most universities to offer their courses remotely (Al Lily et al., 2020; Nasri et al., 2020; Oyedotun, 2020; Ramos-Morcillo et al., 2020). These changes had profound impacts on gross anatomy education and body donation programs (Brassett et al., 2020; Evans et al., 2020). At medical schools in Australia and New Zealand, the sudden appearance of the pandemic ended face-to-face medical gross anatomy instruction midstream, resulting in a loss of hands-on experiences and the rapid adoption of alternative \'stay at home\' modes of education with little or no time to prepare for the transition (Pather et al., 2020).
