Prostheses designed for restoration and/or replacement of teeth. These prostheses may consist of fixed devices attached (e.g., cemented) in place so that the user cannot move them or movable devices that permit easy extraction and/or repositioning. Fixed prostheses may be intended for replacement of all or a few teeth (e.g., complete, partial, inlays, onlays, crowns); movable dental prostheses (i.e., dentures) may be also intended for replacement of all or a few teeth (i.e., complete or partial dentures). Dental prostheses are made of metal alloys, ceramic, polymeric resins, or combinations of these materials.
