  • Garments designed to be worn to protect the front of the user\'s body and the user\'s clothing. Aprons are typically made of cloth or plastic and tied around the waist and the neck. They are usually fitted with ties at neck and waist so that the fit can be adjusted to the individual wearer and include a bib attached to the front panel. Aprons often include pockets, and may be made to be disposable or reusable. Also available are aprons intended to facilitate hands-free evacuation of infants; conductive aprons; and aprons intended for use by laboratory personnel.
