Physiologic analyzers that assess human body composition. These analyzers may determine body composition based in fat/fat-free two-compartment models (also called fat/lean components) using indirect methods (e.g., densitometry, absorptiometry, electrical conductivity, impedance), or a several-component method (typically four; i.e., water, protein, bone mineral, fat) using direct methods such as neutron-activation analysis.
