Surgical chisels designed to cut and shape cartilage of the nose. These chisels typically consist of a handheld, manual flat-blade instrument with a cutting edge that is beveled on one side at the distal end and an integral handle. A variety of chisels of different sizes and shapes are available, including chisels with concave rounded operative ends; chisels that are straight or curved to the right or left; or chisels with a side probe guard. Dedicated chisels intended to perform plastic surgery of the nose (i.e., rhinoplasty) are also available.
