Electrical conductive pads designed to provide a conductive path between the skin and a defibrillator paddle. These pads may consist of thin devices made with conductive materials (e.g., conductive rubber, gel, carbon film) that are adhesive on one side and include a defibrillator paddle contact on the other side or pads that are adhesive on both sides. Defibrillator paddle pads minimize the damage to the skin during defibrillation procedures by increasing the conductivity between the electrode and the skin. The pads may be also used in other cardiac procedures such as cardioversion an external cardiac pacing. The pads are available in adult and pediatric sizes.
