Lower-limb flexibility exercisers designed to improve the range of motion (i.e., flexibility) around a joint by stretching the muscles in the lower limbs. These exercisers usually consist of wooden boards that form two triangles that support the thigh and control the movement of the knee; usually the height and angle of the quadriceps board are adjustable. Quadriceps boards are intended to improve the flexibility of the muscles in the lower limbs; they may also increase quadriceps muscle strength.
