Devices designed to hold inserted nasogastric tubes in place in a patient\'s nasal passages, frequently supporting and/or securing the tube throughout its use. Nasogastric tube holder designs vary; a typical example includes an adhesive bandage device that has a portion designed to be attached to the end of the patient\'s nose and a portion designed to be wrapped around the part of the nasogastric tube that is immediately exterior to the nares. Another example includes a device that is comprised of an adhesive strip that attaches to the end of the patient\'s nose and a connecting ring that snaps around the exterior of the nasogastric tube to lock it in place. Nasogastric tube holders come in adult and pediatric sizes.
