Sinks designed for thorough cleaning and disinfecting (i.e., scrubbing) of the hands and arms before surgery or other procedures that require a certain level of cleansing by participating personnel in order to reduce or prevent the transmission of infection to patients. These sinks are single units consisting of one stainless steel bowl, with a seamless construction without crevices.
