Waste receptacles designed for the collection and storage of contaminated and/or otherwise hazardous waste materials. These receptacles typically consist of a metal or hard plastic reusable structure, frequently with a disposable (e.g., paper, plastic) liner appropriate for the contaminated waste material and usually separate or attached (e.g., hinged) covers. Contaminated material waste receptacles usually include gaskets around the covers to prevent leakage and labels (i.e., cytotoxic biohazard symbols) to identify their intended contents; they are used for collection of hazardous materials in healthcare facilities, doctors\' offices, and nursing homes. Dedicated containers are available for collection of biological, radioactive, and cytotoxic materials.
