Structures housing all medical devices and other ancillary equipment or auxiliary systems needed for the autonomous performance of one or more medical procedures. Modular medical facilities are completely (or at least to a substantial degree) assembled at the manufacturer\'s premises, usually including the installation of the internal electrical, water, and environmental systems. Most modular facilities are manufactured according the special considerations (e.g., mobile, climatic) required for proper and reliable use in the final destination, and/or are customized to the requirements of the medical system manufacturer.
