  • Patient warming/cooling units designed to warm or cool the patient by blowing air across the patient (i.e., convectively). These units consist of a warming/cooling system with a thermostatically controlled fan (blower) for heating or cooling and then forcing the air circulation; a specially designed reusable or disposable blanket; controls; and alarms.
