Immunoassay reagents intended to perform quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (e.g., serum, urine) to identify and/or measure the levels of one or more of a group of chemical compounds administered to humans for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of a disease or other abnormal condition or for the relief of pain (i.e., therapeutic drugs) present in the sample. These reagents are used in tests intended to monitor therapeutic drugs such as antibiotics, drugs for the cardiovascular and nervous systems, antiasthmatic drugs, antineoplastic drugs, immunosuppressants, and pain relievers.
