Implantable cardiac pacemaker and/or defibrillator/cardiac pacemakers leads used for sensing cardiac bioelectric signals and delivering electrical stimuli to synchronize ventricular contractions. These leads are connected to implantable cardiac pacemakers or defibrillator/cardioverter/pacemakers for resynchronization therapy in patients with advanced heart failure (e.g., dilated cardiomyopathy) and/or serious heart-rhythm problems such as delayed ventricular activation and contraction (i.e., ventricular dysynchrony).
