  • Devices designed to deposit small and accurate volumes (e.g., picoliters) of chemicals (typically nucleic acids or their fragments, such as oligonucleotides) in predetermined spots of prepared surfaces (e.g., glass slides, nylon substrate) to obtain molecular assay microarrays.
