  • Hospital communication systems designed to provide communication between the staff and patient rooms and/or individual patients via wires. These systems typically consist of a central console with a switching device that allows communication with each patient or patient room, power supplies, call buttons at the patient end, and interconnecting wiring; they frequently include corridor or intermediate station signaling lights.
