Bone surgical clamps designed to provide a firm grip on the crescent-shape disks of fibrocartilage (i.e., meniscus) attached to the bones (e.g., tibia). These clamps are typically handheld, small manual instruments including two parts pivoted at the center with a curved shank and a set of sharp pins in one jaw and matching holes in the other jaw that make the instrument especially appropriate to grip the meniscus. Meniscus clamps are used for meniscus dissection and removal procedures.
