Cardiac catheters designed for catheterization of small-lumen (typically of less than 1 mm) cardiac vasculature. These catheters typically consist of 1.5 or 1.8 French tubes that are directed using the cardiac venous system into the cardiac vasculature. Some of these catheters include hydrophilic coating for easy movement, as well as mini electrodes near their distal tip. These catheters are used for electrophysiologic studies and in the diagnosis and/or treatment of ventricular tachycardia.
