Thyroid cancer with any size tumor extending beyond the thyroid gland capsule to invade subcutaneous soft tissues, larynx, trachea, esophagus, recurrent laryngeal nerve, prevertebral fascia, or encasing the carotid artery or mediastinal vessels.
