  • Heart (cardiac) surgical scissors designed to cut cardiac valve tissue (i.e., during valve replacement or repair procedures). These scissors are typically handheld, manual instruments with two slender and flat metallic (e.g., stainless steel) straight or curved sharp blades that slide past each other (i.e., shearing action).
