Corneoscleral eye surgery punches designed to excise a segment (frequently in the form of a disc) from scleral or corneal grafts previously taken from (cadaver) donors. These punches are typically sturdy bench-mounted structures with a manual sliding mechanism that can be operated using a set of interchangeable cutting tips of different sizes and diameters (i.e., the punching mechanism) and a cutting block for the corneoscleral graft. Corneoscleral punching units are used mainly to shape graft implants to an appropriate size during or before surgery.
