PropertyValue
?:definition
  • Semiprecision partial denture attachments designed to attach the partial denture to receptacles that are connected to dental implants and/or tooth-root (radicular or intraradicular) studs. These attachments are typically two-component devices that attach to each other with a lesser degree of precision than precision attachments: one component is fixed to the abutment (usually a dental implant) and a second component is an integral part of the partial denture base. Rigid and resilient attachments are available that permit a slight vertical, hinging, and/or rotational movement as the patient bites.
