Surgical sizers designed to measure and calibrate corneal diameters. These instruments typically consist of a set of reusable, handheld, flexible flat templates with size-marking holes (e.g., in 0.5 mm steps from 10 to 13.5 mm). They are used mainly in the selection of an appropriate diameter during corneal transplants; the sizers may be also used to determine abnormal corneal size in diagnostic procedures.
